    What a lovely post! I have been taking a lot of time for myself lately doing what seems like “ordinary things” but has proved to be so important in boosting my overall mood for the day/week. Things like working out and meal-prepping which ultimately means cooking and cutting ingredients has made me focus so much on myself, and to take pride in the things that we do have without the need for technology. I didn’t realise it till as of late that this was what was missing from my life – just being and just connecting with oneself.

    I really think technology is what’s put a lot of us on edge. Anxiety and depression is more common than we think so I definitely believe in taking a holistic approach. The mind is a powerful tool that in the worst of times, can kill you; but in the best of times, can make you feel confident, self-aware and fabulous in yourself.

      I completely agree about technology. I have turned off most of my notifications on my phone now regarding social-media apps.
      I love cooking and sometimes I get stressed about how long it takes etc, but will then happily spend an hour looking at other people’s photos. So I’m trying to find more balance.
      And taking care of yourself is amazing for your mood right! If you did a post on meal prepping, I would happily read. 🙂

    Such a beautiful post…loved reading it….Holistic health is not only concerned with the absence of disease but with a positive state of being…. It’s an actually a great approach to life

    Great post! I absolutely believe that it’s all linked. Your mind can work with you or against you, better let it work for us right 😉 I also believe that what we eat matters a lot to keep our hormones balanced, If our bodies feel bad, our minds will and so on, It’s so simple, but yet so hard.     How we feel is an indicator of what we believe and this in turn affects every aspect of our being and life. It is very important as you point out to take care of ourselves in each aspect mindfully.

    I love this post so much. I’m a strong believer in the holistic approach (although, naturally, some things like cancer are physical). Seriously great post; I’m definitely taking the reminder to visit the opticians and the dentist xx

      Yeah I think the holistic approach can only go so far with some illnesses, but for everyday living, it’s great to consider. I actually booked a dentist app. after writing this post! xx

    I definitely like this approach! Mind, body and soul can definitely work together to make the best you. I always seem to lag in one section, but I’m trying 🙂

      That’s always the way right! You get your mind in order and then suddenly your body is out of sync. I’ve noticed that more health articles and things about mental well being are coming out, encouraging people to work on all sides of health.
