The Style of Laura Jane is about opening and creating new conversation on a wide variety of issues relating to young women. I hope to go beyond the cookie-cutter lifestyle categories, and write articles and showcase opinion the media rarely addresses.
In turn, I hope my readers are able to broaden their perspectives and feel motivated to share their voice.
Behind the blogger
Upon leaving college in my small town, I travelled daily to the bustling streets of London, working as a sales assistant on luxury cosmetic counters. When realising my skill in makeup, I trained as an artist and subsided my reality with freelance work, adorning credits in film and editorial.
Once creating my blog in January 2017, I transcended over to writing. After being a contributor for international publications – both digitally and in print, I joined as deputy editor of ithestylist.co.uk. I am currently a copywriter for a luxury bridal company and produce blog content for Harley Street Skin Care.
I have collaborated with a number of brands. These include: Tangle Angel, Miraclesuit, Mahi Leather, So Eco Brushes, FSJ Shoes, Chloe Brotheridge -‘The Anxiety Solution’, Harley Street Skin Care and the mental health charity Head Talks.
Through my role as deputy editor at i the stylist, I have overseen and produced copy for 3 St James’s Square, Food Should Taste Good, Explore Cuisine, Superdrug, Aldi, Garden of Life, Scitec Nutrition, Better You, Perricone MD, Udo’s Choice, Buffwear, Feedr and Beech’s chocolate.
